Burton and Lena Jones live on the
northernmost edge of Warren County Tennessee, near the Green Hill community.
They grow a variety of vegetables on their farm, including broccoli, cabbage
and sweet corn. They also have nursery plants and trees. The main focus of
their operation is home canning. The Burtons have a certified Commercial
Kitchen where the canning is accomplished.. Lena cans a variety of Jams,
jellies, pickles and relishes.. Most of her sales are at the Farmers Market
from April through December of each year. If you would like some good
“Kountry” canned products, come by the Farmers Market on sales day or they
can be reached by phone to place an order at 931-934-2523.
The
Burtons
were the first and original vendors that started selling at the present
location in 1991. Burton has served as President, Vice-President and on the
Board of Directors throughout the years and currently serving on the Board
today. Be sure to stop by while buying or visiting the Farmers Market, both
of us would appreciate your visit and business.
