Everything we have for sale is something we grow,
raise, or make ourselves. We do not do any buying and reselling. We are
also experimenting with several heirloom veggies that have that
well established old-fashioned flavor many hybrids have lost. In addition, we are looking
into and moving toward "all natural" or "organic" production in the near
future.
We open the spring with hanging baskets,
bedding plants and perennials. Some of our most popular items include: wave
petunias, million bells, foxglove, giant tomato plants, and several
varieties of butterfly and hummingbird-attracting flowers. Later we move
into spring veggies and berries. We have wild and thornless blackberries,
blueberries, black and red raspberries, strawberries, and plan to add
several more acres of these and other berries in the immediate future.
Summer brings a wide assortment of veggies including, but not limited to, sweet corn, hickory king corn, tomatoes, watermelons, cantaloupe, squash, and cucumbers. In the fall, we have a large assortment of mums. We also have various heirloom pumpkins and squash, as well as, orange pumpkins, ornamental corn, and corn shocks.
